Rocklin Automotive

I was told I needed new tires. I went to Goodyear and they said no that is not true. We all work hard for our money and that is so wrong to tell someone to spend 1000.00 for nothing.

The mechanics are talented. The owner is helpful and willing to work with people. I had my brakes done here and they went bad quickly. It was about a month over warranty and so he gave me a credit at the store to cover some of the cost.

Be aware of this business ! Last year i told them i heard noise on my 1995 Lexus SC 400 they gave me an estimate of over 3000.00 The claim it was my front control arm. My neighbor who's family used to own a auto repair shop told me it was just noise from a piece of rubber due to the cold. He and i could not duplicate the sound Rocklin Automotive said they heard it. I had no work done and have not heard the sound since !

Marc, Tom, and all of their techs are GREAT! I'm new to the area and was looking for a new place where i could start taking my car in. Rocklin Automotive is a great place. they are very professional, clean, and friendly. Most places give me a laundry list of things that's wrong with my car and I'm just supposed to take their word. Here they took me out to my car and showed me everything that is wrong. I highly recommend to anyone that owns a car to take it here

Rocklin Automotive is very deceptive. I asked for an out the door price on tires and they quoted me a price over the phone. When my wife went down for the appointment, they charged her over 10% more than the price quoted over the phone, stating it was their "policy" to not quote sales tax, and a few other fees such as disposal.



I don't care what their "policy" is, they didn't make that clear over the phone it was their "policy" and it's purposely deceptive to withhold portions of the price when quoting, particularly when I ask for an out the door price, which explicitly means I want all fees and taxes included in the quoted price.



I took the matter up with their owner and he refused to make an adjustment to the price, HANGING UP on me when I brought to his attention his unethical policy.



Don't do business with them, particularly with an owner who is so rude as to hang up on a customer because he doesn't like his deceptive policy being called what it is.

All I have to say is Wow! thnaks to Mark & Damien for taking car of my car & getting me to & from work without missing a beat.

I don't think there is ever a good time to break down, but the guys at Rocklin Automotive sure made it alot easier to deal with. Nice people to deal with, clean & inviting showroom, Shuttle service, & Military discount too.

I'll reccomend Rocklin Automotive to everybody. Thanks again
