The Best

I have been bringing both my 8 month old cat and my 2yr old dog to Rocklin Ranch Vet Hospital. I just love the doctors that treat my pets and the warm staff that greets me as soon as I walk in. This hospital is the best that I have ever been to with my animals. The doctors always take the time to explain the things that are going on with my pet, and they do not pressure me at all to spend high amounts of money. They understand the concept of taking care of a household while on a budget, and they always make me feel better about the concerns I have for my animals.

Rocklin Ranch is the new name for Stanford Rach Venerinary Clinic

Dr. Estes is a well qualified doctor, but. this veterinary clinic was recently bought and she become an employee for a new Owner since august 2010 As a result there is more focus on charging more fees rather than the welfare of the animals. Prices went up sharply and there is a propensity to discover "treatments" for while the pet is in boarding. Don't be surprised to pay the double fees, because they needed to clean the ears or they had to make some probably un-needed antibiotics shots.

I just want to make the owners of pets aware that at this location there is a new business, Dr. Estes professionalism is shadowed a new owner visibly anxious to have faster profits at any cost. If a customer ask for explanations why the charges are so high, and disagrees, s/he may be told to look for another veterinarian. Thee is a take-it-or-leave attitude, hard to tolerate

Rocklin Ranch Veterinary Hospital strives to provide the best quality care from patient health to customer service. We have always had our client's best interest at heart and that includes lowering and keeping our prices at a reasonable rate for everyone before, and now after our merger. As a veterinary hospital we have a lot of responsibility to our patients to ensure they are receiving the best medical care possible. In the instance of this disgruntled client we made sure while the patient was staying in our hospital they received the best care possible for a treatable illness. It is our duty in this animal profession to treat all sick patients the best we can, and when a patient is intrusted to stay with us. It is especially important to ensure, that pet is being treated the same way they would be at home with love and lots of attention. So when a patient happens to get sick in our care they are going to receive treatment. As per this client, if doing our job by taking care of a sick pet is considered faster profit making, then we do not agree with the posted review. Of course we understand treatment does come at a cost, that is why it is our hospital policy to always provide an estimate for any services we are to preform prior, so that the client can see and understand the price. In this case, cost was already discussed and it was explained to the client what exactly was wrong with the pet and what needed to be done to get them better, by the attending veterinarian, and the client agreed to the medical plan. There is never any pressure in terms of treatment or care at Rocklin Ranch Vet Hospital. Treatments are always pre-planned with the owners to ensure there will be no unexpected costs.
