Worst grooming experience ever! When I moved to Viera I needed to find a groomer for my Sheltie. I had a lengthy phone conversation with the owner, Mark, about proper sheltie grooming. He insisted he (and his groomers) were experienced with this breed. When I brought my dog in I discussed proper grooming again and told Amy to trim his feet ONLY; DO NOT trim anywhere else. Mark happened to be right there when I was discussing my trimming request. He stated that he remembered our phone conversation the day before. When I picked my dog up (5 hours later!) Amy had given him a hideous buzz cut all over (which took months to grow out). Amy AND Mark's excuse was that he would be easier to care for. Since when is it the groomers decision how to groom MY PET after I make a specific request?!? I was furious!! They did everything I specifically told them not to do! And to top it all off, my babies legs were COVERED in urine!! So, I had to go home and give my dog a bath, which defeated the entire purpose of the groom. Not only did they buzz off all off all of my dogs beautiful fur, he stunk so bad from urine when I picked him up that I even had to take my car to get cleaned after I took him home. I was told his groom would take 2 hours so I planned on my husband picking him up, so I prepaid for his groom. Of course, it ended up taking 5 hours, so I was available to pick him up. Considering the shock of my dogs condition, I asked for a refund from Mark, which was refused. Not only was it refused, Mark was the rudest, most unprofessional person I have ever met in my life!! So, if you want to get your dog groomed, you'd be better off doing it yourself. It would save you money, AND your dog won't get a buzz cut (unless you want it) and he won't be covered in urine when you're done. I would NOT recommend Clippendales Pet Salon for ANY of your pet grooming needs.

I'm only giving Clippendales one star because you can't give them zero stars. On Clippendales' website they state, "Clippendales Pet Salon has established a reputation for giving the highest quality care for your dog." Unfortunately, when a problem does arise, the owner, Mark, could care less. The last time I took my beloved Australian Cattle Dog to get groomed there (which by the way, she has been groomed by Clippendales several times) she was injured by Amy. I picked up my dog at 2:30 and I was at my vet by 3:30 because I could see there was an obvious problem with her elbows by the way she was limping. After being seen by my vet, and getting confirmation that both of her front elbows were strained, I contacted Mark. I was shocked by his lack of care or concern for her well being. His response was, "She is very old, and did fine walking out on her own." When I told him again that my vet confirmed that her elbows were strained and that she was limping when she walked out of his establishment, his only response was, "Strained probably because she is 13." After several more attempts to come to a resolution with Mark, he completely ignored me, not responding to me at all. I'm sorry, but age is not the only factor of why a dog could get strained elbows. This is a dog with whom I've taken on walks every day of her life and who has never had a problem with her elbows. And I can prove that with her medical records. The fact that Mark had complete disregard for my dogs injuries (or even taking responsibility for causing those injuries) has me completely livid! He even refused to give me a refund, partial refund, or even an apology. He is the rudest person I have ever met in my life and I wouldn't trust him with my worst enemy, much less my four legged family member. Even now, 3 months later, my dog still has problems with her front elbows. If you care about the well being of your pet, do NOT use Clippendales.

I called around a few places and they all seemed too busy to answer my questions- but not at clippendales! They were really nice on the phone and have a great deal- half off new customers- I have two dogs and I got half off each dog! And they looks sooo cute! The best hair cut they have ever gotten! I have tried petco- dont ever , ever go there and I tried that other big chain and they never made my dogs looks so good,

clippendales is a small place but dont let that fool you- they are so nice and great with your babies! And my dogs dont sit still and they still did the best ob ever! I'm really impressed.!
