Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary

I don't post negative reviews very often if ever, but I don't ever want anyone to have the same experience we just had. We went to Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary because we were considering adopting a puppy we had seen online. When we got there, we didn't have an instant connection with the puppy, but we saw another dog with whom we instantly connected. This is rare, for in the 25 years we've been married, I've never yet seen Cam so jazzed about a dog. Especially with his recent battle with cancer, I was so encouraged that this dog brought him such joy.

The dog was not ready for adoption because they were treating her for worms. They have a strict policy about not contacting you when a dog is ready to be adopted, so we agreed to call Noah's Ark 10 times a day if we had to to find out if she was available yet. We did this for days.

We felt reassured by their website which claimed that they do not adopt out dogs to the first available home but to the best home. We had proven that we wanted her and that we were willing to wait for her. When we called and finally found out she was available for adoption and had not yet been posted online, we immediately called our son out of school and arranged to pick up our existing dog even though we had all already been in for a meeting the week before. But in the minutes between when we called and when we could get there they adopted her out to someone else who walked in.

After anxiously waiting for days and days, we were devastated. I have to honestly say that we have been treated more rudely and had the most frustrating experience of our adult life with any non profit organization. I would hate for anyone else to go through this. As a leader of a nonprofit, I would be mortified if anyone ever had this kind of experience with our organization.

I found 3 kittens in my window well. Called Noah's Ark. Was told the mother will come back and take care of them. WTF?

Check out "BRING HOLLY HOME" page. Noticed Noah's Ark took down their Reviews page... I wonder why??? Maybe its from all of Dena's lies she's been telling. I went to animal control to get down to the bottom of her lies. Did she really think I wouldn't check her lies out?. ANOTHER LIE! THEY NEVER GRANTED OWNER SHIP OF HOLLY TO NOAH'S ARK. I'm sure anyone who has been following this has seen all the lies that Dena has said. I have backed up and proven all her lies with legal documents. Police and court records. AKC certificates. But the latest lie Dena said was "Animal Control granted her ownership of my dog Holly. Dena is not someone to trust. Dena can not tell the truth if her life depended on it. Check out BRING HOLLY HOME page for the whole truth. Another thing, The pictures of Holly being tied to Noah's ark door,,, is yet, ANOTHER LIE. Animal control investigated and she was tied to the animal hospital. Not Noah's Arks door. So what did she do, pick Holly up from the animal hospital and tied her to the Arks door to take pictures for publicity??? Dena has done nothing but, lie about me, Slander me, Bullied me, and made me just as much of a victim as my dog Holly.

This is Holly. She is my dog that I adopted out to a man because My brother and my father were both dying at the time and I was their care giver. So because I didn't have time for holly I adopted her out to this man who seemed to love her.

Here is a picture of Holly the day I adopted her out to this man. As you can see she hardly looks like I neglected her. I resent Dena from Noahs Ark saying I neglected my dog, when I jumped through hoops to save her from the man who stole her from me and sold her to that puppy mill a couple years before I adopted her to this man that I thought loved her.



That is slander and I will not tolerate it and I may sue Dena for slander. Just because I lost 4 very important family members in 2 short years and I adopted her out after I rescued her from the puppy mill, because I thought it would be best for her, DON'T MAKE ME A BAD PERSON.



If your father had a stroke and needed 24/7 hours a day care and needed to be fed through a tube, I would hope you would have the compassion to take care of him as I did. If your brother was dying I would hope you would have the compassion to help him. I lost a lot of family members in a very short time and I was their care giver. I resent Dena from Noahs ark for twisting my concern for Holly in a neglectful way when I had family members that needed me and I was only looking out for Holly's best interest. Now she has the gull to tell me she wont give me my dog back?



I have police records of her being stolen from me and sold to the puppy mill and I have records of the man who did it going to jail for it. I also have records of doing my part in shutting that puppy mill down. Look him up on the Wisconsin court access, his name is Joseph Lynch.



If you call this an irresponsible person, you know where you can go Dena. You keeping my dog is very wrong. All I want for her is to come home where she belongs and live out her life here and be happy and healthy like she deserves. You do not have the right to keep her. What is wrong with you?



So thank you for treating me like I abused Holly. I just want you to know, I was going to donate $1000.00 to Noah's ark for saving Holly. I was also going to advocate other donations for you, Now I wont donate a thing and I will also encourage everyone I know to stay far away from your operation. When I was there and visited Holly the other day, I pointed out in my contract how Holly was to come back to me if that man couldn't keep her, and your staff told me that you have the same problem with your adoptions, so what exactly makes you better than me????? BTW Dena, you are a rude and very uncompassionate person. You do not belong in animal rescue. I have rescued and saved more animals than you could ever dream of and never asked for ONE DIME to do it. A couple of my friends one who is a nurse and the other a retired cop, both went there today to vouch for me and witness that Holly is my dog and you were nothing but rude to them. Your a piece of work and have no business being in the rescue line of work.



The 1st pic is the day I adopted her to this man who signed a contract stating if he couldn't keep her he would bring her back to me. The other pictures is when she was gone for 2 years and obviously neglected. Yet Dena from Noahs ark has the gull to put me in the same category as the person who neglected her. Plus to top all this off, they had Holly spayed when she is in horrible condition. Wouldn't it have been better for her to wait until she was healthy enough to go through surgery????

You people are sick. I drove out an hour to adopt a dog, found a new best friend and then was denied because I live in a partitioned house and everybody in the house must be there. I don't even know those people, they all have full time jobs, I don't interact with them, how the hell could I pull that off? Its time to change some policies.

Place is a little dirty..but they really care about their animals, and are no-kill.. Donate, or please stop down and get an animal..they could really use the help, and are very passionate about their animals..can't ask for more than that.
