Jager Veterinary Clinic

I have read the posted reviews and conclude that it is past time to chime in here. Dr, Jager has been my vet for many years. The clinic is not smelly unless an animal, usually a post-op animal, has urinated or defecated while a person is in the front office. When I look for a vet, I do not look for personality traits in that person; I look for knowledge in diagnosis. Dr. Jager will not sugar-coat a situation for you, but will tell you the truth of the situation. He usually knows exactly what is wrong with the animal and does his best to alleviate the problem. The truth is that he is the only vet in town who does not "just take your money." His prices are well within reason and more reasonable than most places. I understand that people look for different things, and that the loss of a pet can jaundice interpretation. I have never found Dr. Jager to be uncaring toward an animal, but no one has power over life and death.

Took my dog in for surgery, he did a great job and the fee was sooooo much less than any other vet!
He is a good ole country Doctor!!!!

I brought my cat in for a UTI, Upon arrival, he was extremely rough with my cat. I had to leave my cat there over night, when I picked him up, I asked for a record of care that had been done, and all I was handed was a piece of paper with the word UTI on it... nothing else. I have no idea what I paid for, When I got home, I noticed my cat was covered in stale urine. This man should not be in business anymore. The lack of care, and professionalism I was shown was shocking. I am thankful my cat is still alive, it appears that others didn't have the same luck.
