The Other Side Lawn and Landscape in Robertsdale, Alabama, was established in 2016 by owners Joshua Forbes and Rick Downers. Joshua and Rick met in 2012 while working in the concrete industry. Both Joshua and Rick both have over 30 years of combined experience in concrete and over 10 years experience in lawn care from city lawn to golf course maintenance. Joshua has learned a great deal of his lawn care knowledge from his father, who has over 18 years experience working for the City of Fairhopes Landscape Department. 2016 was a year of entrepreneurial change for Joshua and Rick. In October, The Other Side Lawn and Landscape was established, fully insured, covered with Workers Compensation and loaded with an experienced staff. Both Joshua and Rick are Baldwin County natives. Joshua grew up in the Fairhope area while Rick grew up in Robertsdale.
