        Established in 1961, Westside Elementary School provides a range of general academic programs to more than 350 students in kindergarten through grade six. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, English, mathematics, science and social studies. The school maintains a library and media center that features a collection of books and reference and instructional materials. Westside Elementary School is a part of the Rio Linda Union School District, which was founded in 1914 and governs several educational institutions.
