- Dr. Michael G. Kanosky is a board-certified plastic surgeon serving the community of Flowood, MS and the surrounding Jackson, MS areas. He performs a wide variety of aesthetic surgeries for the face, breast, and body, as well as numerous laser treatments to nonsurgically enhance the appearance of the skin and treat certain irregularities. With the diversity of his procedures, Dr. Kanosky can help restore physical appearance and functionality for his patients. He also spends his time instructing prospective surgeons as Clinical Instructor in the Division of Plastic Surgery for the Department of Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Kanosky has experience and skill with many common aesthetic surgeries including breast augmentations, breast reductions, abdominoplasties, and various body contouring procedures for extreme weight loss patients. Common skin removal surgeries performed by Dr. Kanosky for patients at the end of their weight loss journey may include an arm lift, thigh lift, or a lower body lift. For rejuvenation of the skin, Dr. Kanosky offers multiple nonsurgical approaches using laser treatment. This method can be used to treat veins, skin lesions, scars, and to tighten the skin without the downtime associated with surgery. Additional laser treatments provided by Dr. Kanosky include laser hair removal, laser tattoo removal, and nonsurgical vaginal rejuvenation. Dr. Kanosky received his Doctorate in Medicine from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He then completed an internship and general surgery residency in New Orleans at Charity Hospital and Louisiana State University Medical Center affiliated hospitals. Afterward, he completed a research fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS.

Provided by Doctor.comDr. Kanosky is awsome. I went to him at MS Hair when my hair started thinning. He understood my concerns and knew just what to do. I started with infrared light treatments and prp. It worked and my hair looks better than ever!

Provided by Doctor.comDr. Kanosky and his staff are delightful. Every part of my experience has been pleasant and they are so very kind and helpful. I first saw Dr. K for surgery many years ago and then came back to see him for hair loss. He analyzed by hair loss problem, set up a treatment plan and I saw results in just a few weeks. I've continnued with the treatments and my hair continues to grow thicker and improve. I highly recommend Dr. Kanosky to all of my friends. He is very knowledgeable and he has a great bedside manner-- plus, he has a sense of humor and an infectious laugh.

Provided by Doctor.comDr. Kanosky is the best hair transplant doctor in the southeast. my transplant was completed in one day. The redness went away in a few days and the new hair started growing just like he said it would. No more ball caps for me.

His nurse Jill is so nice and helpful. They both addressed any concerns and questions I had before, during, and after my procedure. I have no more back, neck or shoulder pain. I am satisfied in knowing that I am the perfect picture of health.
