I come here often to get my hair colored and my experience is always positive. The staff is helpful, accommodating and friendly - and they always play music that I love (subjective, I know). Always fun and good vibes here, and the ladies do a good job coloring my hair -- all for a VERY reasonable price. Thank you, Western Barber Institute! You have a client for life =).

Whenever I come to this school I'm always greeted like family. The staff is super friendly, every time I come in for a cut it never fails to come out Fresh. And for only 5 bucks you Cant beat that anywhere else.

Been coming here for a while now and you can't beat the price! $5 haircuts all day everyday! The front desk is always there right reset you and make sure you get cut in the order you came in! Most of the students do a great job and some you have a little patience with becuase they do take long sometimes but always do a great job. I like that the instructor is always walking around checking in on everyone and they ask exactly what it is that I want! Great training for when they get to the actual shop. The music is always good and keep a lively environment! Always record to people to come here if they want a great cut at a great price!

This is the best school . I recommended this school to everyone who wanted to get a careers as a cosmetology or barber. The stuff are very nice always be there to help . And the teachers are very nice have a lot of experience. I been to this school for 3 months but I feel so close to everyone in the school . Mrs jasmine thank you for everything. You are the best

I came here for my nails and I had such an amazing experience Maria did my nails she is so good at her creativity obviously being a Heena artist I gave her few ideas as well my nails looking so good. All are so friendly and professional, Instructors were always there to guide their students at their work.

The place is very upbeat with music playing as I walked in. There is a counter at the entrance where I had to sign In and paid a fee of $5. I was greeted with a smile as the soon to be licensed Barber Christian presented himself and escorted me to my seat. He asked for my name and paid attention to detail as I explained how I wanted my hair. He took his time and with precision he began to cut my hair. He started small talk and continually assured me that he had paid attention to how I wanted my hair to look like. I could definitely tell that he cared and I appreciate the fact that he did an amazing job. No instructor needed.
He is truly on his way to becoming a master barber. Since he is one his way out he did charge $20, but it was well worth it. I am definitely coming back. Did I mention the HOT TOWEL with the the massage?!

I also noticed the barber next to me, having a great conversation with his client. Surprising, it was his first time meeting the guy. His name is Jonathan I add his picture at the end just for the review.

Note: some students do not charge, all you have to do is pay the $5 entrance fee.

I just had the best hair cut from Ara. He's very knowledgeable and knows what he is doing. Hes also super friendly. I will definitely come here again!

I have been at the Western Barber Institute often, I've taken all my kids girls and boys, they have done an Amazing job every time, The institute it's a great asset to our community for the money they charge, the staff is so nice too, I really feel welcome every time I walk into this place, the haircuts are great these guys know what they're doing and they have someone watching them to make sure they do an outstanding job.

was jusst here on thursday night and boy will i be back for sure !! got a cut done by JUAN and he did a great job, i was also reminded by the lady in the front desk cant remember her name but it started with an O and she made sure i signed up for the rewards program ! so my 8th visit will be free . thanks for the hook up guys :)

I coordinate homeless outreach services for the San Fernando valley. WBI consistently comes through to every one of our connect days giving out free haircuts to all the participants that attend and they always do a good job. The team always does a great job with the cut and always treats the participants with empathy and respect. I wanna give a big thanks to the whole team who always do their best to support the community.
