Overall

If the no star option was available, I would be using it! Our furnace broke, and they gave us a service window between 10am-1pm. After several unapologetic calls to the receptionist who was very unhelpful and rude, they arrived at 4:30pm. It is now 7:00pm, and they are still here because they cannot figure out what is wrong with our furnace....they suspect it is just the ignitor, but they are sending out a second technician to take a look! They are also pretty sure that they do not have the part we need, and so we will have another cold night. This has been a huge nightmare experience. I am taking the time to write this review so that you can call elsewhere and not have the same experience we have. As I said, the problem is still not fixed!

What a bad service and unquali...

What a bad service and unqualified tech of Beacon Plumbing!!!



Our office building that is located in Bellevue downtown, the heating system in the building stopped working on Nov 23, 2012.



We called Beacon Plumbing for the repair. A technician came and looked then left, didn't fix it. We had to call them to schedule another visit.



On 26, 2012 was the first repair. It was 3 days late, the technician came and checked. He said a little transformer was bad, and they brought a new one. When the technician replaced a new transformer and turned on the system, the new transformer smoked and burned in a few seconds. He realized that he connected in a wrong way, then replace another new one, and seems made the system running. Although we both can hear a big noise from the running machine but the technician didn’t tell us what's wrong just filled out an invoice and got the pay check of $465.37 then left.



On 27, 2012, in the morning, the system stopped working. We called Beacon Plumbing, the representative told us that she can't reach the technician and we had to wait not sure when to come. We kept calling and can't get a clear answer. Finally on Nov 28, 2013 the technician shown up without any notice in advanced, and we were told on phone a blower motor need to replace, we authorized the repair and paid $711.33 before they left.



On 29, 2013, in the morning, we found the system stopped working again! We had to call Beacon Plumbing. The same, we couldn't reach the technician, and we pushed the representative to schedule couple of times, but the technician did show up. We kept tracking and finally on Dec 10, 2012, they came for the third repair. It’s been 12 days we didn’t have heat. We was told the condenser fan motor need to replace. We spend $668.38 for the third repair.



Unfortunately in the next morning, the system stopped working again!!! This time all the tenants in the building were crazed. The Beacon Plumbing technicians have lasted almost 3 weeks and visited 3 times to repair, each repair made the machine works only half day or few hours, and each time we called for the service, the technician responded late and came back more than 2 days even 12 days later after we called. We lost faith on the Beacon Plumbing!!!



In the morning on 12-11-13, we gave the representative of Beacon Plumbing a deadline for the technician must show up by 12pm on 12-11-13, otherwise we will hire another company come out to fix the system. It is really an awful service not only their technology!!! Their technician had never shown up even the service representative had never had a call to us to follow up after 12-11-2013.



It was so cold without any help!

We had to call another company called Merit Mechanical, they respond very quick, the technician of Merit Mechanical did a fully test and diagnose, he found the technicians of Beacon Plumbing installed wrong motor, units had a lot of wrong wiring problems. Wiring to blower motor was wrong and was rearranged during install of new motor. Wiring to electric heat was wrong along with the lock out stat for electric heat. Also, thermostat wiring was connected wrong on the common causing a short every time unit tried to run in emergency heat. Settings were also wrong. So many mistakes on the repairs from Beacon Plumbing had made the machine even worse!!! The Merit Mechanical finally resolved all the problems it's been 2 months, the system runs smooth.



But the case is not yet competed. We summited all the evidence to Beacon Plumbing, Steve Araki, the guy of service department of Beacon Plumbing just equivocated and turned a blind eye to it.
