Chan's

I just moved to the area, was very happy to find a restaurant with fantastic food. Serving sizes ample, and good lunch specials with a range of selections.

The service has always been less than expected. Mostly in the attitude, maybe its too much to ask anyone to smile but smiling is contagious and love to see it. The last time I was there was at 3 o'clock with lunch specials ending at 3:30 as the banner outside the restaurant indicated. He asked for our order with a long drawn out sigh, I said I would like the lunch special, he said that it ended at 3 but will see what he can do. I said "well the sign outfront..." and then he cut me off to get my Wife's order. After getting her order he asked me if I wanted fried rice or steamed. I was confused and asked if he wanted to know the entree I wanted first, the raised his voice to say "YES, what do you want?". I ordered, thought about this being the worst service I ever have received and walked out. I have never to this day walked out after ordering and before paying, but I could not enjoy the lunch after that, and even though I brought over a dozen people there with us over the 6 months we have been here, I will never go back and tell others of our experience. The guy who waited on us was the shorter of the guys working, usually at the cash register.
