I have had great luck with them !!

I bought a truck recently with a transmission that had already been repaired at another local shop and it is prematurely failing. The warranty is void because of the change of ownership. I have had other work performed at Redding Transmission and am confident that when I am ready to have this transmission rebuilt again it will be the quality that I as a business owner expect. Definitely a shop I would recommend to others.

I can tell why they have good reviews - they're good people. I brought my car in this morning and Richard fixed me up and did some extras without charging all the extra - I really appreciated that. The car is doing great - great service.

Todd and his team saved my families Easter! My husband and I along with our two young children were on our way to Oregon from Paradise Ca when all of a sudden our van would not go. We were stuck on the side of I-5. We were towed to Todd's shop without him knowing we were coming. He asked my kids what cartoons they wanted to watch and made sure we were comfortable. He later gave us a ride to a hotel for the night. He ended up having to completely take apart our tranny (even tho we had paid over $1500 4 months earlier to have it rebuilt). We broke down on Thursday and not only is he closed for the weekend but it was Easter. He by some miracle he got it done by 5:30 on Friday and delivered the van to us at the hotel. With out the team at Redding Transmission our Easter would have been ruined!

Transmission was slipping in my 2004 Tahoe & Rick got me going with a couple of shifting solenoids. Great crew & great work! Thanks guys!

My check engine light has been on and off for the past few months now, I have taken it to numerous other well known shops, with "great" reputation, but none of them could get to the root of the problem, I was charged a total of 200 dollars all together from other shops and nothing was solved. The first day I pulled into Redding Transmission they found the problem, made me an appointment for the next day, and fixed my baby. The environment is amazing, the guys there truly care about their clients, they charge a reasonable price for great fast work, and they take care of you while you wait. I will NEVER take my car to another shop again.

Called Todd mid morning and he said they could work on servicing the transmission after lunch. I took it in and it was quickly on the rack. I'd estimate the service was completed in around 1-1.5 hours. The service tech also checked the differentials and stated that the oil looked clean so no need to change. I'll be back with other vehicles.

Just had a service done on my Transmission as well as my thermostat changed. Still won't go anywhere but here. Friendliest staff I've ever met and I truly trust the work. I had my oil changed a few months ago as well as my power steering. They can seriously do it all! Thanks guys, you never disappoint!

I lent my car to a friend, and the transmission went out in Shasta. About 600 miles from home. I went on yelp and found this place. We had the car towed and left at their shop overnight and called in the morning.I spoke to Todd, and he was kind, patient and understanding. He diagnosed the trouble and called me with the bad news. He said it might take about a week and a half. He called me 3 days later and it was DONE! Quality work, quality service.

My Dad took in his old Dodge Diesel truck which was so 'bumpy' my Mother would no longer ride in it, Redding Transmission fixed it so well and for such a good price that my Mom loves the truck now and my Dad was able to sell his commuter vehicle to only drive the truck. They sold the commuter vehicle and were able to finish their kitchen remodel. The repair of the Dodge was so reasonable they made enough cash from selling the other car to get my Mom's dream granite countertops! The repair job was literally less than half of what my Dad was quoted by other mechanics, My Dad is a bit of a perfectionist and he expects the best because he delivers the best in his personal owned business. To this day he still says and I quote "I'm just tickled with how great the truck runs" I have never heard be so pleased BY ANY professional service. He would probably leave a comment himself BUT he doesn't like to mess around with that 'internet crap' haha KEEP IT UP REDDING TRANSMISSION!!!

It was the worst possible time for my clutch pedal to go to the floor and stay there. I was in the middle of a busy intersection in rush hour traffic in 107-degree heat and 400 miles from my vacation destination. And the shop was closed in advance of the 4th of July holiday. Marty just happened to be there and answered the phone by accident. Realizing my vacation was at stake he agreed to stay after hours and get me going. I needed a new master and slave combo for my clutch hydraulic system. One hour later and I was back on the road. My highest recommendation.

I stopped by with transmission issues. Todd took the time to scan my car and look it over. I am going back to have a complete service on my transmission. The staff was friendly and made me feel like a valued customer.

Honest, fair prices and great work quality. Excellent cutomer service from todd! Best transmission shop I've ever been to. I have taken two of my vehicles so far to Redding transmissions for repairs and couldnt be happier with the result. Only place to go in my opinion!!

I was a 1st time customer to Redding Transmission. I needed to have my transmission serviced in my truck. I called around town to get rates and after talking to multiple shops, Redding Transmission not only offered the most affordable service but was willing to have me come in with same day service without an appointment. I was frustrated with most other shops in Redding because most refused to even work on my truck because they complained my particular truck had a cross-beam that ran under my transmission (Chevy S-10 ZR2).

So the fact Redding Transmission didn't skip a beat, with unbeatable rates, it was an obvious choice. Other shops in town charge more for this option. Waiting room was comfortable and had internet t.v. which felt a little like home. The front office manager Tasha was very friendly and professional. My only complaint would be, I will have to put another 20,000 miles on my truck before I can go back to Redding Transmission and get a chance to hang with Tasha.

i recently bought a car with Charles Wilburn Jr at Midway auto. He was fantastic He found the exact car I was looking for. He was knowledgeable about the car and did not try to push me out of my range. i would Highly recommend Charles. I am very happy with my experience with him !!!

These are great folks. While traveling we had a transmission problem. They spent time finding the problem as well as a solution. They provided great customer care and service. I would highly recommend Redding Transmission.

I'm going to give Ed's shop five stars. I've lived here all my life, and they've been here in business, it seems, all that time, but they can highly recommended.I took my pickup in because the gulch had gone out. They fixed it in two days, for the estimate amount and gave me a one year warranty on the job. I think,in the automotive repair business, that's as good as it can get. I would recommend Redding Transmission to any friends or relatives.
