TD Ameritrade

The online trade service is very good. If you want to talk with a live person at a local office forget it. The number listed for all local offices is Nebraska number. You cannot find the local office phone number anywhere. The woman who took my call in Nebraska could not help me or refer me to someone who could. After 4 phone calls to different numbers, I talked with a person in Texas who reluctantly gave me the number of my local office. This charade took me 1 hour to accompish. I have been with TD Ameritrade for 8 years. No one including the personnel at the local office related or cared for my ordeal. They said they have no control over the contact procedures. I will shortly transfer my life savings to another company. I may find out that the others are no better. This is the world we live in.

Gabriel over at TD Ameritrade was extremely helpful. He set up my retirement accounts, keeps in contact and even gave up a Saturday to meet with me. Very, very nice and knowledgeable.
