I took up Quizno's on their invitation for the Lobster Mac and Cheese.
I walked in around 4 p.m. and there were 2 people eating in the dining room.
I was greeted immediately and explained I was invited via FB and they knew who I was.
I ordered exactly what they offered and June also offered me a free regular sized drink when I inquired about buying one. That was pretty cool! They had fountain Mt. Dew-NO ONE HAS THAT IN FOUNTAIN ANYMORE BC THEY CAN'T PULL IT OFF-theirs is awesome!!!
The dining area was shiny and very clean looking which was a nice change to see. It also made me more comfortable during the myriad of questions I was firing at June while I waited for the food which was cooking-not sitting in a pot or pan. She explained several things to me and was friendly and attentive.
The lobster came out in this pretty cool looking dish that seemed to be plastic lined with some kind of aluminum. This meant I could actually order one to go and actually toss it in a toaster oven, regardless of the plastic liner!! Nice!!
The dish was very impressive, hot, quite fresh tasting and very cheesy!
I ordered one to go (for my roomie to try-if she didn't like it, more for me!) along with a couple of cookies, 1 big and 1 small.
Roomie LOVED the dish and actually said it was better than a very upity, pricey fish restaurant she has been to and her favorite dish there is Lobster Mac and Cheese. So now her favorite place for Lobster Mac and Cheese is Quizno's! NICE!
If there was anything I found to be even slightly negative would be the way they stack their drink lids but they actually do it that way for sanitary standards-they never taught us that in the 80's-early '00's! Smart move!
We don't eat out very often but I'd love to have this at least once a week!
Thanks for the invite and thanks for having such a pleasant, cool, clean atmosphere with very yummy food. The cookies were great, too!!!
