The Cleaning Authority

I feel compelled to write this review after reading the lengthy negative one posted. I have never had a problem with this company and have used their service for a year now. People need to understand that this service does not go into your china cabinet to clean your shelves and china. This is a service that comes in to clean your bathrooms, kitchen, floors, etc. To think that a service, ANY service, would clean every nook and cranny of your house is obnoxious and absurd. Those are the things you should be cleaning instead of sitting at your table watching someone else clean. I have a full-time career and do care for my home. This crew is a godsend to me because the general bathroom, dusting and mopping allows me to focus on intricate things in my home, delicate things, that I want to care for myself. As far as an employee who speaks Spanish? I fail to see how that is a problem when this person is putting in an honest day's work. What does that have to do with her ability to clean???

I used this service for about a year. Every visit I was disappointed, but just let it go and figured it would get better when they got use to the house. They always had different girls in my home, which I didn't feel comfortable with and complained to the owner about. I don't think they treat their employees well, because they cant keep most of them. One of they young girls didn't speak any English and they used a phone app. to communicate with her, every single time they came to the house they were training new people usually young girls. I actually dreaded the visit and, I felt like I had to ask them to clean obvious things like the dinning room table , under sofa's, blinds. If there were a few toys on the floor they wont clean that area. They never really did a scrubbing to anything, this is a wipe down service, the details are a joke. Anything up high is off limits and I have 9ft ceilings so light fixtures never done. The last straw was yesterday. Four girls showed up, the "Head Cleaner" walked in with a attitude right from the start. They had a new vacuum which needed a three prong plug, they said they couldn't find one to use, I said there is at least one in every bedroom, but I offered to let them use my vacuum. The response I got was "well don't complain if we cant get under under the sofa or other places." So I got a adapter for them. I asked them to clean the hutch, they said they don't do that because of the china in there, so I moved it, but they were very annoyed. Everything I mentioned the head cleaner had a excuse for why they couldn't clean that area. I had been sitting in the dinning room which they had just finished cleaning. I was so annoyed at this point because they were talking about me right in the kitchen. I asked the head cleaner "are you allowed to wipe the table?" She ignored me, so I asked again. She turned around and said are you serious? I said well you are finished in this room but didn't touch the table. Long story short she called the owner and said I was being rude! OMG really??? Then they up and walked out, leaving everything a mess. They say they do back round checks, but I truly doubt it!! I talked to the owner Kevin and explained everything. I told him that the girls do not clean how he cleaned when he was here and if I ask them to do it they way he does it or how it was on the brochure they act like I' m ridiculous. I told him that this was the most unprofessional thing I have ever experienced and he needs to re- train his employee's. He said that he was sorry and he was trying to do that, but did not offer for anyone to come finished the job or anything at all. I told him not to charge me for the clean and not to come back. I would not ever recommend this service. Stick to a small cleaning lady.
