Being red and yellow black or white.....has nothing to do with anything there...All faces walk thru that door....I do agree that some of their workers need some people skills...AND their food sure needs to be better as it HAS gone down hill.....but your ethnic background isnt the issue here....At any time of day or night you will see different ppl of origin settn in there having a cup....so try again...

My husband & I have gone here for the past 5 years & in the past have always enjoyed a good breakfast. I'm not sure if they hired a new cook recently or what. We had the worse breakfast ever last Sunday. The hashbrowns I received were not even cooked throughout. In fact, my first bite they where actually still frozen inside! When the server came by & asked how it was I told her my hashbrowns where still frozen so she took my plate & brought back some more that were just as bad as the first time. They only browned the outside of them. The server did come by again & asked if those were okay & I said no, that they still where not thoroughly cooked but would not let her take them back again. My husbands where the same. She did take off about $4.00 off our bill. Big woop for food that wasn't edible. I'm not one to complain when given bad food in a restaurant & absolutely hate sending a plate back to the kitchen but this was beyond bad. And to actually have to pay for it, made it the last time we'll be eating there.

My friend and I have visited this restaurant twice in the last month. Although the food was good, the service was lacking friendliness. Not to others who appeared to be regulars, but definitely for us. When we checked out, the cashier didn't even make eye contact with us. She took my card and set down the paper I needed to sign and walked away before I even finished signing my name. I've never been conscious of the color of my skin (I am part asian) but I'm telling you, everyone turned to stare at us as we walked in. So... if you are not caucasian and over 40, think twice about this place! We felt so uncomfortable AND we weren't treated anywhere near as nicely as others there. Yes, I know it's a "down home" place in old Puyallup, but it is the 21 st century and we have a diverse country. I actually walked out of there feeling SO offended! I may even write to the TNT... that's how bad we were treated!!!
Go to Elmer's instead!
