Adept Grounds Maintenance

This company is full of empty promises and their quality of work is something I would expect from someone who is not licensed and has never installed a sprinkler system before. Their customer service is terrible, I have never been lied to by a contractor like this before and honestly feel violated after doing business with them. Background about myself: I've lived in Graham for roughly 5 years and moved out of state due to a military move, we contracted AGM to install a irrigation system so our renters could water the yard while we are out of state. The project had to be completed by the end of May because we were moving (all of this was communicated to AGM). Here is the story: Back in April I had contracted Adept Grounds Maintenance (AGM) to install a relatively simple 3 zone system for my house. I had called and spoke to Greg Adams about the contract and he assured me his reputation and the quality and craftsmanship of his company were second to none and that they absolutely stand behind their work. He sold me for sure. The project started a month later than scheduled and this was only communicated to me when I called asking why they didn't show up the day they were scheduled to... they never called me. Eventually they came out and stated work and promised it to be a two-three day job. They did a great job laying everything out and digging trenches and such for a day and that was it. A couple of more days went by and workers trickled on and off the site really doing very little work. One of the irrigation lines was kinked and covered up by dirt after I was promised that it was repaired. Only after talking to Greg again on his cell phone was the work finally finished up a week and a half after it started. Once the work was completed we walked around the yard and noticed some of the heads were not installed where the making paint had intended them to be installed. The work was completed 1 day before we had to leave WA, and I am pretty sure they used this to their advantage. They never did adjust the heads and remove an ramp left behind as we requested on our punch list and what we have left is a system that leaves dead spots on our lawn. There was no way of verifying the punch list was completed other than taking AGM's word for it. After talking to tour tenants, no one had ever came out and the ramp left behind was still there... more lies. I had sent them a warranty request on 8 July requesting that they take a look at their work again and have never heard back from them. Do your self a favor and move on, there are plenty of other irrigation companies out there to hire, just make sure AGM is not one of them. Their web-site is laughable how they ensure customer satisfaction. I have given this company way too much time and too many chances to make things right, I guess it's onto other avenues.
