Torch Bistro

This is the best restaurant in Punta Gorda. Great food, great service and beautiful decor. Shane and Heidi do a magnificent job with food preparation and are such warm and friendly hosts. Would highly recommend The Torch!

Every time that I come to this restaurant I have such a wonderful experience. This restaurant has such a great selection of awesome food, fantastic décor, and special events as an added bonus! I had the pleasure of being a part of their hosted "Painting Party" where about 11 people painted their unique interpretation of jellyfish. My thanks to Heidi and everyone at Torch Bistro for a wonderful experience, great dining, and for the out of this world Sunshine Cake!!!

We happened to stop in there on their 1st lunch time that they were open. I had the Philly Cheese sandwich and my husband had the salmon sandwich. They were both served with yucca fries, which were delicious. We were very happy with the sandwiches, and will definitely be back for dinner. We like the ambiance, and the fact that the servers wore uniforms, and so did the Chefs. It made it seem very clean and organized. The presentation was very nice. The prices were reasonable, $7.00 for our sandwiches and fries. Can't wait to try the dinner meals. The only problem would be that they only serve lunch from 11 to 2, and then close down until 5 for dinner. That leaves a void of 3 hours. People who like to eat a late lunch or early dinner will be missing out on this nice restaurant. Hope they will reconsider their hours.
