This business is a gem of an operation. Paul Evans the owner, is a master craftsman and a complete perfectionist. The tolerances he works with are down to 1/64th of an inch ! That is real precision. Nothing leaves the shop of Schneple Woodworking unless it is absolutely of the highest quality, no matter how simple a piece it may be. Paul is also a real Renaissance Man, there is nothing too complex for him to decipher. Something that may be too much of a challenge for others is a piece of wholesome cake for him, he is a throwback to a time when true integrity and honesty were expected from businesses. If you are looking for garunteed satisfaction in custom made doors, windows, sashes ...etc. This is one of the finest places to find it ! Some years ago Paul expertly reproduced a pair of interior window shutters for me that exactly matched in construction and style the early-19th-century originals in an adjoining room. Daisy then installed them, skillfully cutting them to fit windows that were off square. She also adjusted several original shutters to allow them to close properly. Over the years I have painstakingly restored my 1828 house using the best craftspersons that I could find, and Paul and Daisy were certainly among them. I could not be happier with the outcome.
