        The Children's Clinic was founded in 1911 by Dr. Joseph Bilderback. He was the first Pediatrician in the Northwest and founded the Pediatric Department at the Oregon Health Science University. The Children's Clinic was originally located in downtown Portland. Now over 100 years later the clinic has moved and expanded to included two full service sites.

        Our two pediatric clinics in the Portland metropolitan area are located in SW Portland and Tualatin. Our Peterkort office is in the Peterkort Centre, near St. Vincent Hospital and the junction of US 26 & Oregon 217. Our Tualatin office is on the Meridian Park Hospital campus, just off Interstate 5 at the Tualatin-Sherwood exit.The Physicians and Staff of The Children’s Clinic understand both the importance of your family’s health and the value of your time and resources in today’s busy lifestyle.         Overall

        The physicians at the Children's Clinic are fantastic, however the ancillary staff is extremely rude. If I was not already established at the clinic, and did not like my physician so much, which is ultimately what matters most, I would search for a clinic with a combination of fantastic physicians and staff.



        I took a complaint to the office manager about one member of the staff and she was quite kind and there has been a change. That particular staff member is still rude, but no longer vocally so, and that is much more easily tolerated.



        Ultimately this clinic's physicians received great reviews by other physicians, which speaks volumes about the physicians themselves and their abilities. I seldom write reviews, but I know that clinics do view what is said about them, and I am hoping that my review might encourage the clinic to work to assist their current staff in developing better interpersonal skills, or to hire new staff if that is not possible. I am certain that the environment at this clinic can be changed for the better.
