Adams Homes

Run far. I never met an Adams Homes homeowner who did not hate their Adams Home, and I've met four, ALL with drastic problems. Sadly, I was forced to give them one star because they do not deserve it. My Adams Home is an ongoing nightmare. Cheaply built, barely standard, no responsibility taken by Adams Homes.

We deeply regret hiring Adams Homes to build our home. I don't know who put the plumbing in our home (and Adams despicably refuses to tell us), but the home inspector I hired soon after the sale said it was the sloppiest plumbing he had ever seen. And he was right. There are plumbing problems in every room with plumbing. House is only 2 years old. One of the plumbers hired to fix a problem said he had the same model Adams Home. And his plumbing was a disaster too. He fixed his own plumbing issue, and Adams cancelled his home warranty. I literally have a list of 14 separate and very messed up issues in this house that has cost of thousands of dollars. Raccoon family in attic that was not sealed ($1,200 to remove and seal the attic like it was supposed to be.). Awful, just awful grass ($8,000 to replace) numerous plumbing events (more than $2,000 so far). There really are too many disasters and stupidities to list here. I fear the future of this awful house. And that should not be with a new home. We've bought three newly built homes and never had any issue within the first five years.

All in all, I would love to relive the day we walked into this builder's office so we can avoid buying this home. Adams Homes are filled with stupid thinking and built with bare-minimum skills and materials. And Adams Homes are totally unresponsive. Who knew customer service was all about not returning phone calls and emails? Adams Homes did!

Adams Homes should be called Addams Family Homes. So their customers can get a laugh on closing day before they realize the horror belongs to them now. At least, they'll get the kiss before the scr3wing. You have been warned. Friends don't let friends buy Adams Homes. Don't do it to yourselves. No one should have their days listed under two labels: Days of problems & days before the next problem.
