Village Supper Club

4 of us were there last Friday night for dinner. As usual the food was very, very good (2 fillets, a Tilapia and Chilean Sea Bass) and the value is excellent. Friendly owners and staff. Desserts almost all homemade and delicious. Would recommend to anyone-----------Try it!!!

Why do so many narcissists go into the restaurant business? This was a nice old Wisconsin tavern until they let the electrical wiring get so bad that they ended up burning their own business down. Now, who knows what it is but it is NOT a "supper club."

Such a cozy restaurant that reminded me of the TV show "Cheers". There is a bar where it is obvious there are 'regulars' who come in and seating for about 30-40 in the dining area. I had one of the best burgers I've had in months and my wife had the 6 ounce filet. She said that was really good and was one of the best ones she'd had in a long time too. The prices are very reasonable too--$4.95 for my 1/3 lb. burger and fries! The filet my wife had was $16.95, which came with a soup, a salad and a side (she chose the baked potato--which she said was also very good). The staff here is friendly, but they don't nag you every 5 minutes to ask if everything is okay. That is a big plus. This is a great place. Luckily we live just a few miles away but I'd gladly drive about 30 miles to get to this place! We'll definitely go back!
