Knight West Homes

We built a new home with Knight West in 2012. We looked for three things in a builder.

1- A builder who does extraordinary work and offered what we wanted.

2- A builder who seemed like we could trust them (we tested them a bit on this before signing with them)

3- Competitive pricing.

Although there is more that we liked about them, these were our main criteria. Let me just say that they lived up to all their promises. It is one thing to promise great service and quality, it is another thing to see that happen in home building. Our home had some issues (mainly with sub-contractors) during the process. A couple of these issues were major issues. What you need in a builder is someone that will make those subs accountable and make sure the work is done right. Knight West did this extraordinarily well.

Also, they claim to build energy efficient homes for about the same price as other builders. Again, true to their word. We paid slightly less than other new homes in our area, but our house is WAY more efficient. It has been a hot summer and $80 has been our highest electric bill so far. Since building with Knight West, we have talked to some friends who are general contractors who think highly of knight west. One of them even said he hates to bid against them because they are so good.

We would be more than happy to talk over the phone and tell anyone considering Knight West more about our amazing experience. They started as a bunch of strangers building our home and we ended friends. Anyone who has built a home knows that this is quite the feat! Steve/Tanya (801) 836-5817

Forget about customer service with this company. I requested a bid from them for a house and never got a response back. so when I asked to speak to their estimator Their phone Nazis refused to let me speak to him. They gave me nothing but hassle when I requested to speak to anyone directly. VERY unprofessional! If the estimator is too busy to talk to a customer then they are too busy to build my home!
