Cosmo Prof

My experiences at CosmoProf haven't ever been great and I tend to avoid going unless it is an absolute necessity.
Since they bought out Peerless I ended up making a trip to the Pleasant Grove store. In order to buy shampoo I had to DOPL lookup my license (I already had an active account and card, and provided my account number and ID) upon the employee realizing I was a Master Esthetician and Instructor and not a Cosmetologist she pointed it out, but in no way implied I couldn't purchase my shampoos.
However when she pointed this out another customer stormed across the store to verbally harass and berate me because it isn't fair that Estheticians can buy HAIR DYE (which I wasn't purchasing) but she can't buy professional strength chemical peels. As though my purchase was a direct attack on her. If anything that's a lapse in store policy that allows me to purchase. The employees remained completely silent and allowed this woman to verbally abuse me for buying shampoo, hairspray, and a sample of a conditioning treatment. She lost it, because I was purchasing something that CosmoProf as a company allows me to purchase.

After this blowout with the other customer, I had to sign a contract for Moroccan Oil because I didn't have one on file... I wasn't purchasing Moroccan Oil but just wanted to get out the door and figured complying would hurry things up. On top of this the employees seemed to hide the contract and rushed me through it saying that it was just Moroccan Oil making sure I wasn't reselling their product. Now I'm fairly certain I received an additional charge (mentioned below) for this contract on an item I didn't want or purchase.

So after this whole experience took at least 45 minutes (for 5 minutes of shopping) I checked my account less than 24 hours later and CosmoProf had billed me my $45.07 AND an extra $29.26... Of course they're closed and no one at any of their customer service numbers will answer phones.

I WILL NOT be shopping here again, and will STRONGLY encourage others to avoid it as well. They are not worth the outright harassment or billing issues. CosmoProf is a seriously dissatisfying company and this location is one of it's WORST locations. It's the WalMart of the beauty industry... horrid customers, horrid employees, and a horrible experience all around.
