Preston Park Montessori

My youngest daughter is graduating from PPMA next month and then will be starting kindergarten! Both my children spent their first 4.5 years of life at PPMA while I worked during the week days, and this staff is like family to us. These women (and the man who runs the kitchen who my daughter says makes "famous mac and cheese") helped me raise my two kids in many ways. My oldest daughter just finished 6th grade and was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society -- I credit that partially to the tremendous start she got at PPMA. Both my kids are well-socialized, active learners who received a lot of positive reinforcement for these characteristics at PPMA. Love the whole place, the hours, the food, the clean environment, and most of all the teachers and staff!

Our son has been going here since he was 6 weeks old (he's now 2 1/2) and we are about to bring our second son into their care as well, so obviously we are big fans. The staff continually looks for ways to enhance their communication and has always been nothing but friendly and warm to me and my family. I'm greeted every morning with a smile, and every afternoon I receive a warm goodbye. I feel like they are family and they truly care about me and my kids.

Every teacher we have had has been wonderful, and each time we move to a new class, I think there's no way this teacher will be as great as the last and they are. My son has learned so much from his teachers. They have a really wonderful learning structure, but also get the chance to just be kids as well. The teachers are always very involved and work with you and your child. I've gotten some great advice and feedback on behaviors as well as celebrated things like potty training success. You will get what you put into it, so I try to take my time to talk to the teachers about my son. I love how diverse the community is, because I think it's such a benefit to the kids, and they all really love what they do.
We have been so grateful for our family at PPMA, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great Montessori daycare.

Both of our children have gone to PPMA, and we couldn't be happier. We love having Seema as teacher! Her dedication to the children is unsurpassed. In the two years she taught my son, his academic ability skyrocketed. When he entered kindergarten this year, he was already reading on a first grade level and even doing simple fractions. I credit Seema and her wonderful teaching ability for his academic progression. My daughter entered her class room earlier this year and at the age of 3 is already writing her name and doing simple math. She is the best!

Our son has been at PPMA for the last two months since he was 6 months old. I have been very hapy with the showering of love and attention that my child recieves from his teachers. One teacher in particular, Ms. Glenda, is an angel. My child is happy here and I feel that if I have to leave him, I'm glad it's here. I have already recommended this school to friends and will continue to do so. I've popped in at various times during the day, and am always pleased with what I walk in to.

The owner greets us when we arrive each morning, and I appreciate that she knows me and my son by name (she seems to know all of the students and most parents by name). Also, the facility is airy and bright, and always looks and smells very clean. It's a happy place to walk in to.
