Poor service. Our house cleaner did a very minimal job. I'm by no means picky or a neat freak, but I noticed that she missed several obvious areas (i.e. Around & behind furniture, fixtures on the kitchen and bathroom faucets, shelves, etc.) I also paid for 3 hours of cleaning but she left 20 minutes early. She even had the gumption to ask for a tip. I complained to the company but never heard back.

Overall

I had a FRUSTRATING experience with the Owner and the Manager from The KLEEN GURU Cleaning Company in Plano, TX and didn't even get the service (that I paid for and scheduled)...and also no call back as was promised several times to make things right!



I took notes (and still have a screenshot of them) on the original phone call (prior to buying a Groupon) to ask specific questions about what I needed. Got the person's name that answered the phone (Sounded like "Connie" to me), and she told me to buy the groupon and set up an appointment on their scheduling website (which "redeemed" the groupon). So that's what I did, and left the notes from our convo in the "notes section" when scheduling the appointment.



Then someone responded back to the scheduled appointment saying it had been canceled. I was like "what the heck?" So I responded back explaining what the person had told me on the phone prior, and they just wrote back saying "sorry, can't do it", didn't offer a refund or anything or a different type of cleaning.



So I called the office back the next day, and a man answered the phone. I proceeded to tell him what happened and he said we don't have a "Connie" here, so I verified the number and explained more, and that I had taken notes to prove the answers I'd received, and then he finally told me it must have been his manager "Tonny" that answered the phone, and that he was the Owner.



We then went back and forth, with me telling him how unhappy I was, and he just acted like he didn't care at all about customer service and that his manager would never say those things, so basically I was a Liar. He said that he was covering for her that day and that he would talk to her when she returned the next day and that he would honor what she had originally told me. And that he or she would call me back the next day.



Well the next day came and no phone call, so the following day I called back and left a message 3 different times of the day, because I sure they had caller ID and didn't want to answer my phone calls!, and still no call back.



So I was assuming they were still coming to clean on the Monday that I had originally scheduled for (since he said in our last conversation that he would honor it) and then they didn't show up. And I had no time to find anyone else to do it. They left me High and Dry, and still haven't returned my phone calls. So then I had to waste more time to call Groupon back and try to get a refund for a Service that was showing "redeemed".



Such a NIGHTMARE to deal with, and some of the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I've ever had!!!



DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS COMPANY! I'm sure there are plenty more in the area that are so much better! And I've noticed as I was looking for a place to put up this review, that they seem to have all NEGATIVE REVIEWS!! I wish I would have looked those up prior to contacting them! :-/
