Chili's Grill & Bar

It's sad to say last night was one of worst days ever very heart broken we would come here to celebrate after many softball games and yesterday like no other day we were excited to go share a family dinner here at Chili's Bar and Grill in Plainville Ma 107 Taunton Street. but that was taken away from us. We ordered our drinks had one of their famous appetizers ordered my little ones their food right away knowing how they like to take their time enjoying their meal. my husband ordered the trio appetizer as his meal my daughter and I shared a fajita trio grilled chicken and seared shrimp. she finished one fajita With the shrimp on the sides processed to put mines together when I reached in to grab a tortilla laid and behold a cockroach crawling all over my tortilla in the blue tortilla holder! right then and there I asked for the manager he took my information down and said that I would get a call in a couple days and not to worry about the bill because it's on the house. Soon after that I asked the manager if he was going to make everyone aware of the unsanitary conditions about the kitchen his reply was no! My husband and our 3 kids left the restaurant while I went to wash my hands after handling the disgusting cockroach while I was thinking to my self these people in this restaurant have the right to know about the disgusting unsanitary event that just happened. I kindly walk over table to table asking if I could please to speak to an adult at the table quietly and in a respectable manner about the incident. I was then asked to leave by the manger I responded back by I will leave when I inform everyone earring in this restaurant of what I found in my meal it was unsanitary and beyond disgusting. asked the manager if he can call the authorities that I would like to file a report. I went outside to wait for them when they arrived I was blown away how I treated in front of my family u the time I left Chili's I felt like a criminal the authorities were very pushy and made me feel uncomfortable mind you I asked for them to be called! I also requested if the female officer can take a statement from a few witnesses she told me to leave the property and that she (the police officer) "does not work for me and if I wanted my witness information that I would have to take it down that it was not her job" couldn't believe it and still don't I'm in total shock still couldn't even to to work today took the day off so emotional mentally distress! #1 the cockroach in my family's #2 the way the authorities treated me like a criminal demanding me to sit down and demanding my info when I want was a complaint on record due to the unsanitary conditions and how they could keep serving food to these customers who are under the assumption that they can trust them with the sanition of their kitchen. How do I ever trust a restaurant again especially with my little ones. I left the establishment feeling like I was in the wrong and most of all like I was a criminal of justice! How in this country of the great USA lost for words and don't know what to do already contacted the Board of Health and they basically told me "oh that happens every where" really come on not the answer I wanted to hear! How can a place serving food conducting business be so negligent I'm so emotionally distressed and the fact my children had to experience this preventable tramatic event! Ive been harmed emotionally can't sleep or eat!
