The UPS Store

I shipped a package in early April from this UPS store. (The UPS Store 4488, 13400 S Rte-59, Plainfield, IL 60585) Paid to have someone package the product and extra for a more secure box I then brought it to the store and paid extra for the insurance to cover the product. $2500 of coverage! The store took the money and the package and shipped. The product was damaged in shipping and an insurance claim was filed...No big deal I had insurance and the product was packaged by a professional which I paid extra for! WRONG! UPS denied my claim and so the store resubmitted. Each time I call the store "NO ONE" knows what is going on except "PETE" I believe the owner and Pete will not call you back. Within the last 5 days I left 4 messages and stopped in the store and asked for him to call and update me and have yet to receive a phone call. This is NO way to treat customers and no way to run a business. The store seems great for mindless jobs like making copies but if you need real support with shipping or filing a claim DO NOT GO HERE...I suggest FED EX!! I hope to hear from Pete and get answers but @ this point I have given up and went to the corporate office of MBE and UPS Stores. I will never use this store or UPS after this experience. Their insurance is a joke their treatment of customers is wrong and the stores they franchise have no clue how to treat customers.
