Horrible service. The worst. Ever.

I'll try to keep it brief and to the point:



Reserved a carpet cleaner to be picked up on a Friday. Owner told me over the phone that they rent it for 24 hours, but if I picked it up after 12 noon, I would be able to keep it until Monday at no extra charge because they close at 12 on Saturday and are closed on Sunday. Nice policy, EXCEPT it's not in place solely for the customers' benefit-- it's so they can be closed for their benefit. To adhere to the "24 hour rental" policy, they would have to not rent anything after 12 on Friday. A better plan for this situation would be to put IN WRITING what time the rented item is due back on Monday before incurring an extra day's charge.



Apparently, the owner of this company believes it is appropriate to say the following things to customers, like me, who are not told specifically what time to have the rental back in the above example:

"That machine was due back at 9a.m. (said at 9:51 a.m.) You're gonna get charged an extra day. Tell me, exactly how long did you thing you think you could keep it? "



I told him the guy who had me sign the rental when I picked it up did not tell me that it needed to be back at 9 and that he should be taking this issue up with his employee and not the customer, his response was, "you just got a 24 hour rental for 36 hours and you're gonna sit here and complain to me? I really don't care- you're complaint and opinion mean nothing to me."



My husband and I own a small local business, and I have always had jobs working with the public. I. WOULD. NEVER. talk to customers the way that this man talked to me.



I have no idea if there are other places in town to rent carpet cleaners, but do yourself a favor and keep looking. Don't rent from this place- the owner does not deserve your business!

Gee, I had a really good experience. I was told about each product I asked about in a professional manner. I wasn't pushed to buy anything. My family has been going there for years and years. I will keep coming to West Coast Janitorial Supply because it has exactly what I need at a good price without the hassle. I wouldn't let one persons bad experience be yours without going there and seeing for yourself.

never again..

I had to go to this guy 3 times to get my vacuum fixed, same vacuum, same problem. They didnt call me when they finished it. I had to call them 2 weeks after I dropped it off waiting for a call back each time. Spent 80 dollars and 3 trips up and down the hill for a vacuum that took them 3 times to fix the same problem. No apologies offered whatsoever or compensation. Just got "oh well I didnt work on it". owner gave me attitude the whole time I was there as if my bringing the vacuum back was wrong for him to fix. I wont ever be going back again. Dont waste you time or money with this location. Super unprofessional.
