I purchased a stove from there for my mother in December 2005. There were some problems with the stove and when my mother contacted them about having it serviced they advised her there was no warranty. So for the last 4+ years my mother has been paying for service on a stove that in fact had a warranty that is stated right on the original receipt. I called to get the number for the company that the warranty was purchased through and the woman that answered for Bodnar was rude and told me to shut up. Asked me "who do you think you are talking to little girl" because I cut her off and with force in my voice again asked her for the number. I told her she needs to learn how to talk to costumers and my mother has been screwed out of hundreds of dollars. She of course hung up on me. Needless to say no appliance in our family will ever be purchased from them again. I only filled in one star because I had to in order to post

I called on September 26th made an appointment for Friday October 2nd for a service call for my washing machine. Ed was very pleasant and told me he would forward my request to the service department and that they would call me between 8-9 am Friday morning. When I had to call Wednesday September 30th to reschedule, Jean was very helpful and they scheduled me in for this Saturday October 3rd. Unbelievable, a Saturday appt. how convenient for your customer and on short notice. Received a call at 8:15a as promised and was told I was scheduled for morning be there between 9:30-11:30 a. At 9:30a my doorbell rang. How refreshing to receive prompt and courteous service. He went right to the machine discovered the problem. It is fixed and I just finished a load of laundry. Thanks to all at Bodnar Appliance. You have another satisfied customer. I will gladly spread the word and keep your phone close at hand.
