Wow, I had just the opposite experience the several times I used Pismo Coast RV service. I've had my toilet replaced, air vent lids replaced and covers installed, converter replaced and a couple other problems fixed during several visits to PCV and each time the products, the service and price was excellent. They do charge to come out, but who doesn't. Mickey was the one that did most of my work and he is great. I will certainly recommend them to my camping friends.

This review is about the Pismo Coast R.V. Service affiliated with the resort. Do not trust them!! My husband and I get screwed over all the time because we expect people to be honest....and they are often not! I just got charged $100.00 from these people for a repairman to come out, plug in a fuse my husband had pulled, and tell me everything is fine. The issue was that when it rained we were awaken by an electrical buzzing sound and it seemed to be coming from the air conditioner so my husband pulled the fuse to make the sound stop. Then, I called to get a repairman to look at it and I told them exactly what happened. When he plugged the fuse in and the air conditioner worked fine, I told him that when the incident happened there were also lights, the radio, and a fan that went out. This so-called repairman turned the light switch and saw that it wasn't working and proceeded to recite his mantra of, I came here to fix the air conditioner and there is nothing wrong with it. Well, DUH! That was pretty obvious! So, what caused the electrical buzzing and why don't the lights, radio, and fan work?? I don't know because all the repairman (Mickey) wanted to say was that he came to look at the air conditioner and that's what he did. So, apparently I was mistaken to think a service call was meant to find the problem! Of course I asked him to look at the air conditioner because that is where the sound came from! Maybe, a REAL repairman would have listened to the whole story and figured out the real problem!

Mr. & Mrs. Savage tired of being shafted!!
