Tom with K9Katelynn helped us get our dog under control. She had a lot of traits that made it hard to take her around other dogs ( barking, lunging, pulling ect) Tom had helpful tips to address these behaviors. You do need to follow his training recommendations and train your dog twice a day to see the best results. While it is an ongoing effort we have seen big improvements in her behavior. Tom was always professional and on time. He was always accommodating without challenging schedules. We loved that he’s uses positive reinforcement to train. Our dog loved him, we would highly recommend his services.

Excellent training and advice. Tucker is now less anxious and aggressive. The training sessions were immensely helpful and Tom is a true master! Thanks for all your help and patience as “we” had much to learn.

K9Katelynn dog training is simply a great company to hire for your positive reinforced dog training. He helped my wife and I take on the training of two rat terrier puppies. I don’t know what we would have done without the very professional guidance. To make it even more impressive (due to an illness I had to leave my place of work) K9 gave me a refund of all unused lessons. They were under no obligation to do this. K9 did it quickly sending me the money in a cashiers check. A truly professional company.

Tom is a great trainer and it is clear from the first session that he can help your family with dedication on your part. He spent about an hour with us at each session, had us take notes, answered questions and gave us the psychology and understanding behind each lesson. Within two sessions, we saw our dogs be more focused and less aggressive towards each other. We are so thankful for his lessons, and will continue working with our pups to keep them happy, healthy and engaged!

It went well Tom taught and gave us the tools to train our dog. Due to health Reasons we were not able to complete the course. What we learned helped us get a trained dog and the tools to continue to train as we feel better.

Very professional and knowledgeable trainer. Had my pup potty trained in a week! Tim makes sure you understand the command you are working each session. He shows you first and then works with you until you fully understand. He has you take notes so you can refer back to them at any time. There is always a question or concern time at each session. He had my pup walking on a treadmill in just one session and he loves it!! My pup is less than 6 months old but Tom has him trained!! My pup was always happy to see him and followed his commands.

We adopted a neglected/abused 9 month old Labradoodle. This poor guy had no confidence and was not socialized. We needed help training him.

Tom (K-9Katelynn) is an experienced trainer and has a good understanding of canine behavior. We took notes each of the six training sessions and keep them as a reminder. We continue to practice with Louie (our dog). In the beginning 65 lb. Louie would not walk on a leash. We had to carry him to his first vet visit. Using Tom's techniques, we taught Louie his basic commands. He has gained confidence and has become accustomed to people in social situations. We are very happy we asked for help and received it!! Thank you K-9Katelynn!

Training energetic pup not easy but Tom gave us foundation for calmer, more disciplined lil girl without negative correction. Treadmill and pool really help burn off puppy energy. BUT- You have to invest some time, 20min sessions once or twice, 5days wk to get good results, no magic wand, well worth effort. So be committed to training for payoff- Happy Home.
We continue to review notes taken at sessions and implement. Thanks Tom!

Our puppy Lucy is a very high-energy rescue that was driving us crazy. She would steal anything paper & rush to the couch to eat it. Socks would be grabbed, taken outside and she would jump around and throw them in the air. Lucy was also very aggressive in her play with my wife and would jump on her & play bite. We watched many YouTube videos on how to train her to behave, but she just wasn't responding. My wife was on the verge of saying we needed to take her back to the shelter until we found k9katelyn. We made an appointment with Tom & he came out to speak with us as well as meet Lucy. We signed the "contract" with him & training started the next week. After purchasing the recommended leather leash & collar (as opposed to our rope-type leash & nylon collar), Tom showed us each step of the way for each command and then had us try it as he watched & corrected any missteps. Each day we trained her was for 20-minutes at a time with Lucy on that week's new command and refreshing the commands from the prior weeks. Yesterday was our last training with Tom & Lucy now Heels, Sits, Downs, Stays, Shakes, Places (move to a specific spot & stay), as well as Off (to get her front paws off counters, tables, and people). My wife is much happier with Lucy & the fear of having to return her to the shelter is gone. We now have a well-behaved puppy that is fun to be with. We plan to continue working with her so we can take her to stores with us and with friends. She still gets quite excited, but is learning to control herself. His training is very structured so be mentally prepared to train when he arrives. Our experience was a very positive one, well worth the cost, and we would recommend him to anyone wanting a well behaved dog.
