Total rip off. They lie about vehicle condition that they list on their website for you to bid on. Then when you buy based on their lies, and refuse the vehicle because the transmission is bad, undercarriage is rusted out, brakes are gone etc. They steal your deposit of at least $300. You will be ripped off one way or another trying to buy a vehicle here. Lets say your winning bid is $600. you will pay $1250 because they have invented all kinds of fees they charge, many that are not described in their terms. Yes people, Tony Soprano lives and he is President of Capital Auto Auction Philadelphia.

Waste of time nd money, personal not helpful, car with severe issues even low miles or newer ones. Do yourself a favor don't buy from there, don't go, don't think about it .

Absolute WORST customer service I have encountered in a very, very long time. While trying to donate a vehicle to Cars Helping Veterans, I was put in contact with this shame of a business and not one bit of this experience has been positive. For over three weeks, I have been given the run around as to when CAA is going to pick up my vehicle. Finally today, after calling every other day (being told someone would call me right back every time), I was told that they will not be taking my donation and I need to call the charity and find a new company to pick it up.

Apparently, Capital Auto Auction doesn't want to help this country's veterans. If they don't care about helping the men and woman who defend us, I suggest you take your business elsewhere.
