Perrysburg Highway Department

Streets in Perrysburg should be plowed more often. They need to hire more people to get the job done. We don't need excuses. We need a reliable highway department! We need safe roads. People should be able to drive safely without worrying about getting stuck.

Perrysburg highway department has cut back significantly on plowing the streets. The hill on route 39 going towards Gowanda (near Maltbie + Markham) is very hazardous. It is a challenge getting up the hill. On one occasion it took over 6 hrs. of waiting for a plow to go by so that I could get home for the night. When the new hospital is erected it will be a disaster for patients because that hill is a main route. For many, this hill is the main gateway between Perrysburg and Gowanda. Keeping the road clear during the winter months should be a top priority for the highway department. It is very unsafe.
