Bodine's Furniture Refinishing

Beware of this GUY. He takes advantage of the elderly. My parents used this guy to finish their dining room set. He seemed to be a fast talker ( which should have drew suspicion ) but my parents used him anyway. He picked up the set end of summer. Parents got it back a few weeks before thanksgiving. Brought it back to them with extra chairs he said my parents could have. Have no idea where the extra chairs came from. My Mom said she didn't want them he insisted they were hers. The set was turning green. Parents called JOHN BODINE back again and told him. He said there was a recall on the varnish he used that was the problem. Everyone was having the same problem. Lies. He came out picked up the dining room set again. Needless to say my parents paid him a couple thousand dollars and they still have no dining room set. We had to buy small folding tables for the big thanksgiving dinner they hold at their house because still he couldn't get their set back as promised. Now it is December 16, 2014 he still has not delivered the set and has excuse after excuse. I call him on the phone and he laughs like this is a joke. I asked him to deliver the set or return my parents money and he hasn't done either. He said he refuses to talk to me so I am hoping this post will help someone. I will be calling the BBB, Attorney Generals Office, News stations. Please steer away from this parasite. He sees elderly people and takes advantage.

This man is awesome. I have used his service three times for furntiure finishing/refinishing and he has been able to match new items to existing furniture I have with incredible accuracy - you can't tell that they were not finished at the same factory at the same time. He is truly an artist!
