Dr. Brooks and Dr. Sonya are great! Pembroke vet has a great staff and they really care about your pets. When I go in the office I feel at home. Everyone at the office makes sure that your pet is well taken care of and no matter how many times I call they are more than happy to give me an update on my pet. Beth and Mary are really great and they keep you laughing even when you feel like crying. Thanks again for all ya'll do!!

Dr. Brooks and the new vet Dr. Sonya are the best! They are honest and I love the care my pets receive from their office. I will always take my dogs to Pembroke Veterinary Hospital.

Dr.Brooks has been our dog's vet since she was born in 2005. Eventhough we moved to Fla. we still drive up to have him take care of her. We adopted another dog and she is also being taken care of by Dr. Brooks. We even drop them off for boarding when we go on vacation. The one way trip is 350miles each way but we would not do it any other way. He is the best around. Elisabeth and Michael

Dr. David Brooks is a very knowledgable and caring verterinarian. I have been to other veterinarians closer to my home (12 blocks & 2 miles), but I still choose to drive the 22 milies to have him care for my dogs/cats. Dr. Brooks "hospital" is modern, clean & does not have items like flat-screen TVs in the "exam" rooms. Perhaps that is why his rates are competitive (although the cost for animal care is rising too). Another thing about Dr. Brooks' practice (PVH); he is available. On one occasion his office was closing in 10 minutes and my dog was having an allegeric reaction - could not breathe. I felt it was an emergency, so I called two local vets. Because it was close to closing both referred me to a vet who was 45 minutes away. I call PVH and they told me to come on; they would wait. The receptionist said there would be an additional charge (after normal office hours); the charge --- $10; if you could find one, most other vets would charge at least $60.
