- * Cosmetic DentistryTeeth Whitening Bleaching of teeth is one of the most popular things to do to help create a gorgeous smile. We recommend the home bleaching method with custom made trays. The trays are made in the dental office and are worn Āæ hour per day for two to three weeks. Results may vary, but are usually noticeable after the 1st several applications. * Restorative Dentistry Restorative dentistry involves procedures to fix broken or decayed teeth and restore them to a beautiful, healthy state. Restorative dentistry includes Fillings, Crowns and Bridges. * Fillings The most common materials for fillings are the beautiful tooth-colored composites which are bonded to the teeth or the traditional silver amalgam fillings. The choice is yours. * Crowns A dental crown, also known as a cap, is a tooth-shaped covering that is placed over a tooth. Crowns are generally used when fracture or decay is so extensive that filling materials cannot make the tooth strong enough. Crowns are made from a mold of the prepared tooth, and then seated after a couple of weeks. * Bridges A bridge consists of 2 crowns and a false tooth in between. Bridges are cemented in and are not removable. They are used to replace one or more missing teeth * Dentures Complete Dentures - These are removable appliances that replace all of the teeth. Dr. Andelin family dentistry is my first choice for a dentist, because they are a very caring and professional staff. Dr. Andelin is thorough and efficient, he takes the upmost care in his work. It is never a rushed job, always precise and complete. I highly recommend them as a family dentist!

Andelin Family dentistry (father & son practice) treats you like a valued customer! The entire staff is friendly and courteous. In the 5 - 6 years I have been seeing them for my dental needs, I have always been taken back within 5 minutes of my scheduled appointment time. When I have had an emergency, they have done their best to "fit me in" and I did NOT have to wait for more than 15 minutes on this rare occasion! Twenty+ years ago I had major dental work performed which involved the surgical placement of titanium screws into my jaw bone (this website doesn't like the use of certain words) - one failed immediately, the other one was a success. Unfortunately, after twenty years it became loose. The x-ray showed the apparatus itself was cracked (up in the jaw bone). The original doctors had both gone out of practice, so determining the type of apparatus I had, and thereby any resolution to my problem, was basically impossible. Dr. Andelin (father part of the father/son practice) took the time to do the research and contacted one of the manufacturers from that time era. They came up with a viable solution whereby I was able to retain the existing apparatus! It has been over a year now and it is still functioning well and the cost of the repair was minor compared to the cost (plus time and suffering) of having to have the apparatus replaced. I cannot praise them enough for their dedication to their patients dental health, time management in the scheduling and treatment of patients, cost effective solutions, and the friendly atmosphere the dentists and staff create.
