Z-Best Air Duct and Carpet Restoration

I contacted Z-best to clean my air ducts. The http://valpak.com coupon I had stated 1 main and 1 return with unlimited vents. Lonnie and Johnny Straughn came to my residence. Johnny came in and proceeded to vacuum out some vents in the upstairs bedrooms and two vents in the down stairs. Lonnie took me downstairs to count the number of mains and returns and to show me the condition of the ac fan in the basement before he tested it for microbes. After Lonnie came up with a estimate for what a complete home air duct cleaning would be, I told him I would submit his estimate to my landlord and that I only wanted what the coupon stated. He then added a $20 travel fee that was not listed anywhere on the coupon, nor had been discussed when I set the appointment with his office. After contacting my landlord, another contractor was sent to my home by my landlord. This contractor explained how the work should have been done and showed me when he opened up the main that was to have been cleaned that nothing had in fact been done with the main. The only thing that had been done was a few vent registers were vacuumed. I contacted Lonnie and he would not listen to my complaint and refused to refund my money.

These people are nothing but scam artists. I called last week to schedule a cleaning for a Val-Pak coupon for $79.95 for whole house steam cleaning. They were supposed to be here at 9:00 this morning, didn't show up until 4:00 this afternoon. When they got here, I was informed that it's $60 per room, that the steam cleaning is just a refresher and doesn't include shampoo! When I told them this was shady on their part, the female in the crew said (rudely) "Well, it's right on your coupon". IT IS NOT! When I called their office, "Lisa" wouldn't answer the phone but did call me back, but insisted that the coupon says this, but it doesn't. What it DOES say is "We also offer...." and one of the things listed is "dual cleaning for high traffic areas". NOWHERE does it say that the steam is just a refresher and no shampoo is used, and that every room will be $60. SCAM ARTISTS!

When i contacted the company forever clean, MD to clean my air ducts, they sent the owner of this company who was partner with forever clean at that time. I had a very bad experience with high pressure tactics, inflated prices and false statements from the technician that did the work. I contacted them because my system didn't cool and the technician told me that after cleaning it, the system will release cool air in the summer. Which never happened and now he declines everything, even though he wrote it in the contract and he declined to look at it.
