        Sierra Middle School serves more than 1,250 students in grades seven and eight. It is a part of the Douglas County School District, which operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Sierra Middle School s academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as language arts, math, social studies and science. The school offers a variety of elective programs in art, drama, music, choir, computer and technology education, and family and consumer science. In addition, it offers sessions in band, orchestra, world languages, and health and physical education. Sierra Middle School also offers the English as a Second Language program. It provides a variety of sports activities, such as basketball, football, volleyball, wrestling, golf, and track and field. The school also operates various student organizations, such as the National Honor Society, a student council, and book and ski clubs. It located in Parker, Colo.
