Midas

I was holding off writing this, to see if they would respond to my complaint. I brought my truck in for a steering problem. After 2230.00 was spent on upper and lower ball joints, plus alignment the problem remained. I then brought it to a local mechanic. He replaced the steering box for 575.00 and had to have the truck alignment redone as it was out of specs. Problem solved. I then contacted Midas Regional manager and offered me a 200.00 credit to try to make thing right. I then went to Midas just to use up the credit I was given. I asked to change the Serpentine belt. I was quoted 1 hr labor by the guy behind the counter. When I told him I have a 200.00 credit (there should be a note under the cash draw) He said I don't know anything about that. I'll have to get Kristin. She then charged me 2 hrs labor, even thought the truck took 55 minutes. So they ripped me off again. When I went to my truck the hood was not closed properly. As I was getting into my truck I noticed the glove box open. When I went to start it the light came on the the passenger door was open. They were changing a belt. Why did they have to go into my glove box? I don't trust them. I wouldn't have given them any stars, but it had to be filled in to submit the review.
