BEWARE of "trading" up to upgrade a prior Jared purchase. Perhaps the salesperson was uninformed as to the gold content of a Jared ring I was upgrading to. The salesperson presented me with an identical ring with an upgraded diamond.After the purchase I noticed that the identical setting I upgraded in diamond value was actually 10k vs. of the 14k of my original Jared purchase, I contacted Marshall the manager to accommodate my request of simply crediting the $200 disallowed due to the 30 day exchange window . Marshall the manager refused my request although the information to him about his staff error should have proved to be more valuable then a $200 credit. In this economy Marshall the manager made a bad business choice , not to mention any future sale of the ring enhancer and wedding rings I had inquired about. the "star" is for the cappuccino .
