Ruff House Doggie Daycare

If you would have asked me about a month ago I would have given Ruff House a 5 star rating. However, it has changed back to the original owner and if you have an active young dog this is no longer an appropriate place to take your dog nor will they be welcome there. Our dog has been going there for a year and is now just about 15 months old. We were told he's not allowed back because he jumps when he plays with the other dogs and barks. He is not an aggressive little guy, just a strong and playful yellow lab. But apparently they aren't happy unless the dogs only play quietly. So if you have a young active dog this is not the place to go. The previous owner had her children there and they played with our dog with no problems and loved having him there. Just very sad he's lost his playmates as he has gone there on a regular basis and will miss this. We will be researching and reviewing other options for our furry little active Tater.

I love this business and the owners are top notch people. I have been a customer for over two years and was with the previous owners as well as the new ones I like them all. Nothing has changed my dog still receives excellent care and I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone in need of dog care. They treat all people the same as they do the dogs.

Ruff House is a family owned and operated business. I can say with firsthand knowledge that they love dogs and your furry family members will be treated with great care.

The business recently changed ownership. The previous owner was 5 stars across the board. The new owner has used their business Facebook page to post comments that are anti-LGBT. When it was suggested that this might not be the most professional route to take as the don't know which of their customers are LGBT or allies and they could lose business, they said that they wouldn't mind losing that kind of business.

In this day and age, it's not acceptable to discriminate against anyone. In our community we know what's right and what's wrong and we vote with our money. As an ally, I will be using my money to support a business that loves both animals AND people.

I would suggest finding an alternate place to drop off your pup for the day.
