I looked into preschools/daycares for 6 months for my 2 year old. I chose this one because i loved how the 2 year old teacher was with the kids. She was so soft spoken and seemed caring. I made the mistake of sending my very active, loving 2 year old son there. The first day when i went to check on how my son was doing i caught another teacher yelling at one of the kids likw how an upset parent would yell at their own child. ( i do mean YELLING). When she seen me there she apologies ( should have taken my son out than).
The first day mrs.c asked me when i picked him up was he special needs (no he is not) than she asked if he has ever been to daycarr before (no he has not, i had explained to them before that this was going to be his first time ever being away from me). Than in the same breath she says oh is really smart he know all the alphabet and can count to 10, i had to correct her no he can count to 30 and can count to 10 in spanish.
She than tell me that the 2 year teacher cannot handle my son because he does not listen (1st day and he does not know them) she said the teacher is too passive and that she is going to switch him to the other teacher (the ones that yells at the kids ).
So when i take my son back i advised them that i do not want him with the other teacher, those kids are older and the teacher yells at them and if they switch his class i will be pulling him out. Did they follow my directions NO! I was absolutely lividwhen i picked my son up and he was woth this lady. If it wasnt for all the children in the room i would have gone off.
Mind you my son is not a fighter, he is only child, first time and daycare he didnt bite people nor pinch any of that. He just doesn't listen all the time but all 2 year olds dont. My son now bites people, pinches and is very scared of people that he doesn't know. This was not how mu child acted before he went to leaps and bounds.
I wrote this review to advise other parents of my experience. I would not recommend sending your child here even if they do listen and sit still all day. If your child is not enough to tell you about their day and ia not scared to tell on people do not go to this place. It is our job to protect our children and i feel like i made a very bad mistake sending my child there. I am grateful that I seen what was going on and pulled him out before more damage could have been done.
