        The Visiting Nurse Services of Connecticut is a nonprofit health care association that offers a range of services for children, adults and senior citizens. It is one of largest visiting nurse associations that serves more than 50 communities in Connecticut. Founded in 1909, the association provides rehabilitative, skilled nursing and hospice care services. The Visiting Nurse Services of Connecticut offers medical social work assistance and home health aide services for over 10,000 patients annually. It provides physical, occupational and speech therapies. The association also offers psychiatric nursing, pain management, and palliative and wound care services. The Visiting Nurse Services of Connecticut is accredited by The Joint Commission.
