The project was completed in just 6 weeks. Demolition was required to remove old walls and to expand the restroom to meet new ADA codes. Metal stud partitions with smooth finished drywall, new custom tile work, commercial grade carpeting, and custom painting were installed.

The combination metal, brick, and concrete block structure was completely refurbished from the inside out. Much time and effort was spent to make the building more energy efficient with the addition of new insulation, sealing up skylights, a new insulated overhead door, a new electrical service and associated wiring, and the installation of new HVAC units.

Retaining Walls
A new ball field complex including a two story concession stand bathroom complex, picnic pavilion, dug out structures, retaining walls, and other requirements for the City of South Daytona.
Walkways
The exterior of the buildings have seen the most visible change as a new colonnade and verandas have been added as well as new poured in place concrete stairs and elevated walkways. The most stunning change has been the addition of landscaping and a brick paver courtyard which can now accommodate outside weddings and other activities.

Siding
T he old South Daytona Auto Parts building was really showing it's age. Bent up metal siding where cars had continued to run into the side of the building, hanging and torn insulation, old and exposed plumbing, and other signs of hard times where abundant.

Painting
Insulation
An interesting day on this project was when the entire outside skin of the building was removed and replaced with new metal siding and insulation. Traffic was stopped in both directions along busy US #1 as folks passing by could see all of the interior of the building exposed.
Masonry
Repairs to replace deteriorating concrete walkways and to replace old and deteriorating decorative masonry at one of the beach side's nicest family motels.
