Overall

WORST experience ever. He did a horrible job, less than two weeks and they are all off.. Top coat was peeling yesterday and I could get through the layers. Fiberglass should've lasted longer with a better top coat

terrible customer service!!

I went to Hi-tek nails today at 2:30..I was asked how can I help you?..I let the man know I had an appointment at 2:30 with Suzie! (Because last time I had an appointment with her I was sat down in somebody else's station and Suzie never did do my nails they were done by a man named Jimmy who proceeded to ask me questions about what color my boyfriend is and told me that I need a yellow man because they are fun...give me a break! How unprofessional..not to mention innapropriate) anyways today I sat down to wait until Suzie was ready for me..only to realize she was just a few minutes into a pedicure...I sat there for 25 minutes waiting while Suzie and other members of the staff just stared at me. If somebody has an appointment they should be helped within a few minutes of that time...or at least let me know what is going on...I figured maybe someone else would finish Susie's pedicure and she could help me...that didn't happen either! I feel like they should not even offer appointments if they don't follow thru with them! I was very very dissatisfied with this nail shop today! The reason I made an appointment was because I have other things to get done on my day off! They could have even asked me to come back in an hour and I would have been happy..because at least I would know what's going on and respect that they were honest with me... After waiting for 25 minutes I walked out of there because I had to get my sister to work on time...no nails...just a waste of my valuable time...thanks

I enjoy my time at HI-Tek Nail...

I enjoy my time at HI-Tek Nails. I leave feeling so relaxed and very satisfied with the services performed. I get my eyebrows waxed and mani and pedi. I don't ask for one person in particular because they are all very good and the great customer services, the spa chairs, the massages, and the quality of work they do at this place. Not to mention the salon is very clean and they have fans that ventilate the area so that you are not breathing in a lot of nails polish fumes.

The service at Hi-Tek nail sal...

The service at Hi-Tek nail salon was really good. The nail design was very artistic. My friends loved the design and asked me where I had got my nails done. They had a promotion for 30% off all services of $20 or more except for additional services. The nails were a great deal much cheaper than other places I've gone to. The service was good I didn't have any problems.

I totally agree with you. I came in the first week it was open and I think that the guy that you were talking about did my nails for me too. Before he started to do my nails, I specifically told him that I want the corners of my nails to be squared but he insisted on saying that round is better. It was ridiculous because i spent like almost 10 minutes arguing with him and saying that I want my nails to be freaking square at the corners because I have always had square corners. It was really stupid. His manner was ridiculous and i could not stand him at all so I complained to the Manager and the Manager said that next time when I come in he will do it for me. I was also confused about the additional 10% PRE-BOOK part and I asked the Manager to clarify it for me and he said that there was an error so he will have to fix it. He confirmed that next time when I come in I will get 30% off all services of $20 or more, excluded the additional services. I was still very pissed and disappointed when I left and I didn't want to come back because of the employee's poor manner. I mean like c'mon I paid my money to get a good service and to be treated right, not having to be arguing with the employee for 10 minutes about something stupid like that. That guy was just a jerk.



However, last week when I went to the Walmart to get some grocery and I got their new flier when they stucked it on my window; just like the Manager said he would fix it. This time the flier said that any customers that come in until February 2nd will get 30% all services of 20 dollars or more, excluded the additional services. I decided that i would come back and give it a second try. This time, i called in to make an appointment and specifically told that I absolutely don't want that guy to perform any service on me again. When I came in on my appointment date, I was really happy because I didn't see that guy working and I asked the Manager where is here (i was very curious because because the shop only has three employees including the Manager so I don't think that he would take a day off). Right when the Manager told me that the guy was fired because of his poor conducts. The Manager also apologized again for the guy's behavior.



I was very satisfied with my services this time because my nails looked absolutely fabulous with the sparkly silver powder at the tips of my nails, and most importanty, the Manager listened and made the corners of my nails squared like how I asked for. The original price was 35 dollars and I got 30% off so it was only $24.50, then I had the Gel on my nails for 5 bucks. I got the Signature pedicure which was $25 dollars but i had 30% off so it was only $17.50 and I got two pretty flowers on my toe nails for another 5 bucks. My total came out to be 47 bucks and I think it was very cheap and worth it this time. They were gorgeous and I got soo many compliments from my co-workers asking where I got my nails done. I will definitely come back because

This has to be the worst Nail ...

This has to be the worst Nail Salon in the world!! The service is horrible. The grand opening flyers set out were not honored as indicated in the flyer. The quality of services performed was extremely poor!



The flyer said 30% off any service and an additional 10% if you pre-book your appointment. This gives you 40% off your services. The salon said it’s an error. And you only are getting 30%. (However when I booked my appointment 4 days in advance I confirmed that I would get 40% off and was told yes I would).

When it was time to pay the Manager said on its $21. So I gave him $40.00 and he gave me $9.00 back. Not thinking about it I walked out and then realized the guy screwed me out of $10.00. So I went back in and said you still owe me $10.00. The Manager decided to re-consulate everything and tells me a new price of $26.00 and gives me $5.00 back. I then questioned him about the flyer stating I get 40% my services and he said oh it’s an error; you only get 30% off. (The nails without the coupon should have been $35.00. So the first time the Manager figured out the cost he gave me the 40% off but tried to keep my $10.00. The 2nd time he figured the price he figured it with the 30%).



BUT…. the price is the least of my concerns with this salon.



The guy that started my nails should have gone back to school. Not only did he put the white tips on in different places on all the nails (some nails had white tips in the upper middle of the nail and others had them lower where they should have been). When the guy cut them, he cut some nails shorter than the others. Then he put Gel on the nails and started to file them. At this point I asked him why some of the white tips are higher than others and why they are different lengths. The guy then started flipping his towel up at me asking if I’m trying to start trouble. He then repeated this several times. At this point I lost it and demanded for the Manager to finish and correct what this guy had done.

So the Manager does the best he can to correct my nails and suggested that we put designs on the nails that had white tips too high! I said fine, so the manager had a girl put flowers on my nails. And the flowers are LAME!!!! My nails look horrible!!!!!



So at this point, I will never go to this nail salon again and I will tell every person I know not to go there. In my field of work and being a resident of Orangevale, I am confident that I will get the word around.

I have also reported this company to the better business burro.

What they did with the payment was completely unethical and very shady!!!

This salon is a disgrace to salons!

Don’t go there!!!!! I’m telling you, you will regret it!
