Access Medical Centers - Urgent Care

Refused to provide antibiotics for my wife who has been suffering with a sinus infection for almost 3 weeks. Insisted she suffer 3 more days using over the counter remedies before yhey will offer her a much needed antibiotic. She hasnt had an antibiotic in over a year. Its not like she is asking for them all the time. Very sad medical treatment and no logical explanation. I have to watch her suffer all weekend until we can get appropriate help.

Extremely pleased with the service my son received here yesterday. Very little wait time, friendly, knowledgeable & very professional. XRay on site was very convenient. Received a referral call for an orthopedic before 9am the next morning.

I was treated with dignity and respect. I was seen in a timely manner. More than I can say for the last Urgent Care I visited. I will return to this one for any immediate care I require.

If I could give a NEGATIVE rating I would!

The staff was useless, and uncaring. The doctor was a white haired woman who didn’t seem to know her *** from her elbow. I come from a medical family - so yeah, I kind of have a better view on medical practice.

This clinic used to actually be worth going to - but now they just have zero consideration for their patients. They made my four year old wait two hours (there were only 2 other patients waiting) while she was severely ill and vomiting - took a look at her (not “examined” - she looked and that that’s it!), said she didn’t know in a three minute conversation; made us wait another half hour to be discharged, demanded money after the doctor said she wouldn’t charge me (then she changed her mind), and sent me to the ER.

THEY DIDN’T DO ANYTHING BUT EXPECTED MONEY?!



Interesting conversation with the staff at the ER: turns out A LOT of their patients come from this clinic with “I don’t know” attached to them and their wallets thinner. Access Medical is a ****ing joke.



Another four hours at the ER comes to the diagnosis: STOMACH FLU.



I’m sorry, the “Clinic” couldn’t even diagnose a stomach bug?



Do not bother going here - you’ll waste your money and time.

I would never recommend this place. I tried to go in for an ongoing pain I've had in my wrist. When asked if this was a work related injury, I said I wasn't sure but it was possible. They then told me it would cost $200 extra out of my pocket. I said I had no plans to claim workers comp because I couldn't prove the pain originated at work. I tried to take it back, but they said "they already knew" as if I was trying to be shady. I said I wasn't even sure if it was work-related, but they wouldn't take the statement back. I took my information back and walked out the door, without even being seen by a physician. If you'd like to be treated the same, then by all means go in today. I would never tell a friend to visit Access Urgent Care.

I have came here a few times and they separate my kids from me till the Dr. sees them and spout HIPA rules require it. My regular Dr. does not and thinks this is strange.

I did not have a good experience going here. I do not even believe an M.D. or even a D.O. is on the premises. Usually there are business cards at the front. I don't know about any other Access Medical Centers, but this one gets a bad rating from me. They did not take my blood right (and I do know about this) which in turn I ended going to my primary Dr. anyway the next working day. The staff was friendly, but most people just want to get well, or they wouldn't be there. Wasted my money.
