Okemos Barber Shop

Friendly place, if you want a buzz cut this is the place to go. Not much skill needed to do a buzz cut by todays standards. I went there, cut was uneven sloppy and had an unfinished look. When a barber turns you away from the mirror while cutting, or does not show you the back of you head beware. My barber was telling me what I wanted in a hair cut, not listening to what I wanted. And after all this he still wanted to get paid for less then amature work. Minus one star for them.

I appreciated this place even more after I moved away. I haven't found a barber shop nearly as good as this place after several years and many locations. None of the 4 barbers has ever given me a bad haircut; they actually know what they are doing. Even better, they are genuinely nice. I always make sure to come back when I'm back in town.

Just got a cut here from Vince, the owners son. There were 3 others cutting hair at the time and everyone seemed very nice. Was an excellent experience and atmosphere for a family owned business that has been around for a while. Would highly recommend. Vince did exactly what I asked him to do with the cut and did a great job blending the sides with the top and back. It was $15.00 for regular mens cut.

I got a great haircut they also did a great job on my kids to.Friendly staff .
