Leo's Spirits & Grub

I, my Dad, my Brother, and a couple of his friends went here for dinner. I don't really remember what we got but the service was appalling to me. I would give them negative stars except the rating won't let you. There were about 7 of us and we were going to be taken care of by this waitress and a trainee. I was fine with this place at first until I and most of us heard her say to the trainee, "Don't worry, we don't usually get dirty mexicans in here a lot." She also said something else later on which I don't remember but it was also racially derogative. I don't really think it matters what race we are but if we are going to eat at an establishment, we do not want to be treated racist. We told our dad what we heard and he asked to speak to the manager. We told them what had happened but the manager didn't seem to care. They even ripped up our survey as we left. Now I am letting all of you know what happened. I would definitely not recommend going here.

I AM GIVING LEO'S ZERO STARS!!!



Went there yesterday evening (12/8/13) for my Mom's birthday. Our server was not attentive at all and in a very sour mood - and did not try to hide it. We had three different people (not including our server) checking on us, and they weren't that busy. When our server did come by, she tossed our napkins on the table, too bothered or irked to set them down nicely. We asked if they did anything for birthdays, she snottily said "no, we don't...but happy birthday anyway". She didn't check on the taste of our food, didn't ask if we needed anything else, and tossed the bill at us when SHE thought we were done. I don't know for sure where she was the whole time we were there but from the stink, I can guess that she was on a constant smoke break in her car. We asked her if she was having a bad day (she was) and tried to be sympathetic. Apologies were accepted; she didn't realize she had been rude or anything to us. She kept asking for specifics but we kept telling her it was her whole attitude and that we felt like we were ignored or a bother to her. We didn't feel the need to speak with her manager since we talked things out with her. Amazingly, as we were getting ready to leave, she stopped by out table to tell us that we really hurt her feelings and she wanted us to know that.



WHAT??!?!?!?!



Unbelievable....if Leo's keeps hiring and allowing servers like this (there have been others at this location with the same cra**y attitude and service) they will lose business.



Too bad, because the time before this was great. The differences? It was the afternoon, we sat at the bar, and the food and service was terrific. Bartender was very personable and interactive. Might give it one more chance but it will be a while.
