I happened upon Dave and his wonderful shop while Googling for a person to service my new vintage Kenmore. I had previously taken my machines to West Palm Beach for servicing, but wanted to find someone closer. After reading a blog by Vernelle Nelson and reading the reviews online I was excited to make the trek from Homestead to Fort Lauderdale. Fully expecting to leave the machine and return another day to pick it up.



Meeting Dave was just as expected. He is the friendly easy going man that Vernelle Nelson had written about in her blog and his customers had described. Dave sat right down with my machine and started checking it out. He announced that it was in good shape and that it should be brought back in a few months for servicing. I asked to have it serviced then and would pick it up another day. When Dave heard that I had come from Homestead and was meeting a friend for lunch, he quickly offered to do the servicing while I was having lunch.



What a thrill to find someone that really knows and loves what they are doing. Plus he isn’t out to drain your wallet. The total bill was under $100, much less than the West Palm Beach shop. Did I mention customer service? This was one of the most pleasant business interactions that I have had in a long time. All I can say is that Eve and Dave’s Sewing Center and Dave are spot on! I will be returning with my other machines in the very near future.

I can't say enough how amazing this repair shop is. Not only did they fix my machine (which really just involved a new power chord), they were a pleasure for conversation, and made me feel like I had been going there for years. To top it off, they gave me a great deal and helped me to my car.

THIS IS A GREAT SEWING CENTER. I'M VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE I GOT AND BOUGHT A NICE CABINET FROM THIS PLACE AS WELL. I WILL RETURN TO THIS STORE AGAIN. THANK YOU.
